Life In The Cracks

Nov 15, 2017

This week on LITC David and Luke have a conversation centering around brokenness. Brokenness describes our inability to be perfect in any area of our lives. It also speaks to our state we navigate through the difficult valleys of life. They talk about how people can relate and identify with others through their brokenness, the need for people, leaning into relationships by being open about brokenness.

What if we can understand our brokenness enough to where it can liberate us to influence others? How would our relationships change?

Scott Sauls Quote

"Two years into my role as senior pastor of Christ Presbyterian, I shared the story of my anxiety and depression with our congregation. At the end of the service, a man in our congregation approached me and said, "Scott, I think you are a gifted communicator. But, and please don't take this the wrong way, you need to know that I am entirely unimpressed by that. But today when you shared with the whole church about your emotional struggle...I want you to know that today you became my pastor."
